I spent a few hours searching for a WordPress plugin that allows a visitor to quickly add a event to their calendar.
The goal: A button that when clicked on, it gives the visitor an option to add that date to their calendar of choice.
Unfortunately, the handful of plugins I discovered were either:
- bloated and heavy with many many different features (I’m looking at you, Event Calendar plugin)
- Or were just basic calendar plugins that didn’t do what was needed.
The bad part: It does require a bit of developer knowledge. Which makes it difficult to implement for WordPress users who aren’t familiar with reading code.
What I did was create a form to AUTOMATICALLY GENERATE THE CODE, so WordPress users can use it without having to manually write it! Huzzah!
How to Use it
- Fill out the form below
- Hit the submit button
- When you submit, you’ll receive code to then put it into your WordPress post or page.
How to Paste the Code into WordPress
Via the Default WordPress Gutenburg Method:
You create a new HTML block, paste your code in there, and you’re all set!
How to do it in Beaver Builder:
#1 – Add a HTML module.
#2 – Then paste your code in the box.
